Congratulations to Sinead Duggan St Josephs Tulla who got first place in the 14 to 17 age group in the Irish League of Credit Union's Art Competition.

The theme ‘Walk of Life’. where entrants were invited to think about how society and communities change, grow and develop for the better.

Irish communities have made many positive changes in recent years to ensure the country is a more inclusive, diverse and liberal place to live in. Participants are encouraged to draw inspiration from the positive changes they might have witnessed in their own local communities, or in wider society.

Entrants had free reign to express their thoughts, opinions, visions and hopes on this theme. Sinead, the winner at local level, will now go on to a regional level and regional winners will progress to the national awards ceremony in February 2020.

The hugely popular, national art competition is now in its 36th year. Has each year almost 30,000 people enter the competition through more than 200 participating credit unions.

Sinead received a substantial cheque and art materials for winning the Local level and we wish her and her teacher Ms. Moran the best of luck at regional level.
