Second Year art students from St. Joseph’s Secondary School will be exhibiting work in the Courthouse in Tulla on Friday, March 4th from 4 o’clock and during the farmers market on Saturday (5th March).

A selection of work, previously exhibited in Limerick School of Art and Design, will return home to Tulla to be exhibited in the community.

The work explores the various unique buildings in Tulla, paying particular attention to the architectural features, through a series of drawings and ceramics relief tiles created by students.

During this project local artists Sally and Jane Seymour, Lewis Goodman, Julia Rice and architect Sioban Mulcahy came and shared their insights into their practices and concepts which according to the school “was a wonderful opportunity for the students, and offered a great inspiration during the creation of their work.”
